For study abroad, a group of graphic designers traveled to England and assisted Holmstead Manor, a base of the worldwide nonprofit organization, Youth With A Mission.
For study abroad, a group of graphic designers traveled to England and assisted Holmstead Manor, a base of the worldwide nonprofit organization, Youth With A Mission.
I collaborated with the special events team of designers to design flyers and pamphlets for Holmstead Manor's events. I was tasked with designing a couple of variations for their "Carols at the Manor" event. The goal was to capture the spirit of the season while still staying cohesive with the lifestyle and the mission at Manor.
My time studying abroad in England was very eye-opening in that it showed me how graphic design can be applied to the world outside of the classroom. I also learned a lot more about working close with a group of fellow designers working towards the same goal.
I also designed a few of YWAM Holmstead's informational postcards, which communicated their mission. All of these designs will be applied across multiple platforms, including social media, printed materials, and on-site event signage.
